About Sinclair Trails

Coach and truck

Hi, I’m David Sinclair.

Welcome to my blog about the adventures of me and my wife, Jennifer — and our cat, Paladin — as we travel full-time around the US in a 40-foot luxury motorhome named Bill the Pony, a 2017 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40SP, towing a pickup truck named Samwise, a 2016 Chevy Colorado Z71.

Visit the Sinclair Trails home page for the latest posts; a new post every weekday! Click or tap on the three-line “hamburger” icon to show a sidebar with recent posts, monthly archives, categories, and tags. Or search for specific topics.

Take a look at categories like modifications for enhancements to our coach (a new post every Monday), travel for moving the coach between locations (a post and timelapse video every Tuesday), campsite for places we stay (a post every Wednesday), and exploring for places we visit (every Thursday and subsequent days, depending on activities).

View tags like Yellowstone for our rental trailer trip to that national park, and similar tags for other national parks. Want to have a guided tour of our coach? Check out the motorhome tour tag.

Tip: add “?order=ASC” to any URL to view the earliest posts first, e.g. here’s the Yellowstone posts in chronological order.

Another tip: click or tap the sun or moon icon in the upper-right corner to toggle between light and dark modes.

We are working while traveling; Jenn is employed as a technical writer, and I am an indie macOS and iOS app developer. My company is called Dejal, and my main macOS apps are a popular break reminder tool called Time Out, and a pro-level website and server monitoring tool called Simon. Check ‘em out!

Finally, visit my personal blog for daily pictures and other comments, including cross-posts of these posts.
