I’ve previously posted about the modifications we’ve done to our 2017 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40SP motorhome (including annual summaries), but I thought it’d be interesting to list all of the improvements (as opposed to repairs) in one place, with links to the corresponding blog posts (where available):
- New tires.
- New chassis batteries.
- New AGM house batteries.
- Added solar panels (3 in total).
- Replaced carbon monoxide detector in bedroom.
- Added Safe T Plus steering stabilizer.
- Added Koni shocks on front.
- Added SnapPads on front leveling jacks.
- Replaced DEF head.
- Added built-in 3-stage water filters and water softener.
- Added built-in black tank flush.
- Upgraded GPS/stereo unit with bigger screen and CarPlay/AndroidAuto support.
- Upgraded Spyder control color touch screen.
- Added second control touch screen bedside.
- Upgraded bed mattress.
- Upgraded smart thermostats (with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth control).
- Replaced front and mid ACs.
- Added Pepwave modem for local Wi-Fi and cellular internet, with roof antenna.
- Added CoachProxy (control lights etc from phone or computer).
- Added Firefly Vegatouch Mira (control lights etc from phone app).
- Installed powered theater seating and factory-matched side tables.
- Installed factory-matched pull-out desk with lift monitor.
- Upgraded sink faucets and soap dispensers.
- Upgraded rain shower head.
- Added automatic paper towel dispenser.
- Added shelving and extra insulation in cupboards.
- Added roof vent covers.
- Added carpet in cockpit.
- Added carpeted dash cover.
- Added steering wheel table.
- Upgraded window valances.
- Enhanced insulation in engine compartment.
- Upgraded passenger-side window awning.
- Added Magne Shade window covers for windshield and cockpit side windows.
- Added foldable tire covers and mirror covers.
- Installed tow prep, including air-based brake system.
- Plus all the regular RV repairs, maintenance, and many minor improvements.
